2X 3 cylinder 100 HP Yanmar marine diesel engines fitted with 2:1Hurth hydraulic gearboxes driving 2X 4 blade contra rotating propellers on 35mm diameter stainless steel shafts (fitted with stripper rope cutters), giving a maximum speed of circa 22 knots and cruising at circa 15 knots. Twin cast bronze rudders are fitted along with hydraulic trim tabs. Fuel consumption at 15 knots is approximately 25 litres per hour.
